Welcome to the McGregor Library Media Center!
The Library Media Center (or LMC) is open from 8:20 a.m. to 4:05 p.m., even during lunch time.
When will my student come to the LMC?
Kindergartners and 1st graders will come to the LMC once a week for a checkout and library lesson with Mrs. Puryear.
2nd-5th graders will come to the LMC once a week for a checkout with Mrs. Cash and once a week for a library lesson with Mrs. Puryear.
Late Charges/Overdue & Damaged Books
Students will not be charged late charges. They are allowed to keep their books for one week (with an option to renew after a week) and will receive a printout of any overdue materials. If a student does not return their book(s) they will not be allowed to check out new books. 2nd-5th graders will checkout on a different day than their library day; ask when it is and what books they're checking out!
If a book is damaged, the student will be responsible for paying for the book to be replaced. That student may not check out books until the fine is paid. Once the fine is paid, the student owns the book and can continue to check out.
